Free download Project: Playtime on android devices became possible thanks to the enthusiasts from Unreal Play Studio, who took on the task of transferring the complex multiplayer horror game to mobile rails. This port allows you to run Project Playtime directly on your smartphone, preserving the basic mechanics of team survival and the ability to play as monsters. Now fans of the universe can download the build and test network matches without being tied to a computer, using the familiar touch interface to control GrabPack.

Review of the mobile version of Project: Playtime

The port from Unreal Play Studio is an attempt to bring asymmetrical multiplayer to a handheld format. The basic task remains the same: six survivors assemble a huge toy by parts, while one player in the role of a monster tries to prevent them. Despite the fact that this is a mobile adaptation, the graphics in Project Playtime on Android tried to leave as close as possible to the original, because of which the game is quite demanding to the iron.

Features and little secrets:

  • Graphics customization: There are hidden post-processing options in the main menu. If you disable them, you can get a significant FPS boost, which is critical for online battles.
  • Sound cues: In this version, the sound of the monster's footsteps can be heard clearly through the left or right channel. Playing with headphones on gives you a huge advantage of knowing which side Huggy Wuggy or Mommy is approaching from.
  • Paschals in the hub: At the starting location, where players are waiting for the match to start, behind one of the columns you can find the Unreal Play Studio emblem - a small detail from the port's developers.

A couple of tips for newbies:

  • Don't solve puzzles alone: At the beginning of the round, try to stay at least two at a time. If the monster catches you alone, you will have less chance to escape from the pit, as your allies may not be able to get there in time.
  • Use rolls: The jerk button on the touch screen has a low KO (kldaun), but allows you to break the distance sharply. Use it only when the monster is about to strike.
  • Prioritize parts: First collect the largest parts of the toy, which are located in open spaces. Leaving them for the end of the round is dangerous, as the search area will be narrowed and it will be easier for the monster to chase you.

Now you can download the project for free as an APK file, which weighs a decent amount because of the built-in cache. Taking into account that Project Playtime is constantly updated, it is worth keeping track of versions, as developers often fix bugs with synchronization and optimize the control on the phone.
