The handwriting is uneven, the letters jump around. \u201cThey\u2019re within the walls\u201d is a direct reference to Haggy Waggy and, possibly, to the Turncoats that live in the ventilation system. \u201cThe Flower\u201d is a poppy, leading to Poppy. The employee knew that his only chance of survival was to find Poppy. Did he make it in time?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Part 2: The Environment as a Witness<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The notes aren't the only source of information. The factory walls themselves tell a story to those who are willing to listen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Blood.<\/strong>&nbsp;On the metal walkways leading to Poppy\u2019s room, on the walls around the hanging toys, on the floor in the hallways\u2014there are dark, dried-up stains everywhere. It\u2019s not paint. Their bodies are lifeless, and their seams have come apart. This isn\u2019t a set\u2014it\u2019s an execution. Someone deliberately destroyed these experiments and put them on display. The staff were killed in the hallways, and those who hid died of starvation or suffocation in locked rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evidence: the words \u201cRUN\u201d and \u201cDANGER,\u201d written in what is clearly an adult\u2019s handwriting; the way the toys are hung, reminiscent of an execution; the absence of any living people in Chapter 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Theory No. 3: Some of the employees fled<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not everyone died. Some managed to escape the factory in the first few minutes of the disaster. It was they who could have sent the letter to the protagonist\u2014the one with the grammatical errors. The author of the letter was clearly in a hurry and under stress, but still managed to write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This theory is supported by the story of Gentle John and The Joyless from Chapter 5, which explicitly mentions the toys\u2019 escape. Their minds have been warped by years of isolation and constant fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Chapter 1, there are practically no hints of this, but in subsequent chapters, characters like Giblet and Cham appear\u2014living, sentient beings who have adapted to the hellish factory environment. If they could do it, so could humans. Perhaps it is their blood that we see on the walls\u2014fresh, not dried up over the course of a decade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Part 4: Timeline of the Tragedy (Reconstruction)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By gathering all the evidence, we can reconstruct the approximate sequence of events:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The months leading up to the disaster.<\/strong>\u00a0Engineers are reporting malfunctions in GrabPack and unstable experimental behavior.
